Dr. Eryl Cooke 


Eryl is currently the Associate Pastor of Living Way Church Tonypandy for the last 13 years.

She opened Living Way Academy  28 years ago back in 1992 and students from all over the world (USA, India, Africa, Brazil)  and of course Wales have come to study the Word of God.  Many of the past students have  gone back to their home churches to take up posts in evangelism, Pastoring, youth work etc.


Eryl has a vast background in education and this shows in her passion from her love of regularly delving into the Bible.

She studied Zoology at University College Cardiff graduated with Hons, Human Paristology at UCC and gained a Ph.D.

Eryl has also worked at the University Hospital of Wales as a Senior Research Officer in Crohn's disease as well as working at the Open University as a Senior Research Officer whilst also having   taught at Llandaff College (Science)

As well as all this she has also obtained several diploma's from London Bible College. 


Mrs. Helen Tuck


Helen studied at LWA 20 years ago and never left. She teaches Old Testament/ New Testament survey, Pneumatology, Angelology, Cults, satanism, new age, theology, Roman Catholicism, Christology, soteriology, 7churches of Revelation, gospel of Mark, Hebrews, way of the eagle, minor prophets and excellence in ministry. 


Sarah Thomas


Sarah is a former student of LWA she graduated with distinction in CMD and the DAS courses.  

Sarah currently deals with accounts, publicity, notes and is the go to for admin at LWA.


Visiting Lecturers

Rev. John Cooke 

Pastor John is married to Dr Eryl Cooke and for the past 23 years they both run Living Way Church, Tonypandy. He attended Glyn Neath Bible College for 2 years and  regularly teaches in the academy, below are the subjects he currently talks about - Spying out the land - spiritual mapping, Pastoral studies, Mighty men and Evangelism.

Mr. Christian Tuck 

Christian is a former student of LWA going onto be an Elder and worship leader in Living Way Church, Tonypandy. As a visiting lecturer Christian teaches Anthropology, Hamatology, Warfare and youth culture.
